Access Control List (ACL)
CargoWise’s Access Control List (ACL) is a security feature that allows you to restrict access to specific functions and data in the system. It specifies the permissions and access rights of users depending on their jobs and responsibilities. ACLs enable enterprises to create access levels for various user groups, giving them precise control over what each user can do inside CargoWise. For example, a manager may have full access to all modules, whereas a warehouse employee may only be able to examine inventory data. ACLs assist in preventing unauthorized acts by limiting access based on roles, which reduces the chance of internal errors or data breaches.
